Will we win a game this side of Christmas? on 17:30 - Nov 2 with 1630 views | gainsboroughblue | It does feel like every single star has to align for that to happen. We have to be at our best and we need to catch our opponents on a bad day as well as having decisions go our way. When/if we we do get that first win, it'll probably come when we least expect it. Southampton have got their monkey off their back and Wolves have a chance to do the same now. It could start getting very lonely.

slightly disagree, we just have to have every single star not align against us!

Will we win a game this side of Christmas? on 17:35 - Nov 2 with 1552 views | Sarge | We’ll win a game when the FA say we’re allowed to. Generates more commercial interest to have controversy, and flogging TV rights is their only interest

Indeed. We are flogging ourselves for 90 minutes, turning in a decent performance and still it isn't enough whether it's against Leicester or Liverpool. Think it's also pretty clear you just can't make a mistake at this level either.

Will we win a game this side of Christmas? on 17:45 - Nov 2 with 1397 views | itfc_statman | It looks unlikely but it's not from lack of effort or commitment to the cause. Structurally we need to do something a bit different. We don't have the individual quality to bail us out, although Delap is certainly a potential weapon even at Premier League level But today was another game where we created less than 1xG and conceded more than it. As someone else mentioned, you're relying on aligning of the stars for a victory rather than getting everything right with repeated actions and methodologies. This sounds like a Mckenna criticism, and perhaps it is but equally I'm not sure anyone gets more out of this side. It's possible a David Moyes makes us a bit harder to beat, but I'm not sure any of us want that.
Will we win a game this side of Christmas? on 17:58 - Nov 2 with 1302 views | Bigeze | Some bookies have just suspended us and relegation betting….which is not a good thing. I don’t see a win in next x3 so with a qtr of season gone, where on earth do we get approx 25pts from to stay up…….worrying times | | | | Login to get fewer ads

that's totally wrong, relegation betting is often suspended whilst games are in progress, especially when 2 of the bottom 4 are playing each other (as they were at your time of posting) it'll be back tomorrow (or sooner) and we'll be little changed

Will we win a game this side of Christmas? on 08:32 - Nov 3 with 775 views | Blue_Heath | As good as we were yesterday and cheated out of a win, we have now played the two other promoted teams plus Everton and got 2 points. At some point we will win (hopefully) but as each week goes by you look at the fixtures and think where the hell is it going to come from. I think we are now the only team in the 92 not to have won a game this season (I believe Wolves won a game in the cup?). Spurs and new manger bounce United next plus some horrible looking fixtures in December/January. We need to win our two early December games and get at least a draw at Wolves but as we are finding out this is not going to be easy. The gap between top two leagues now is crazy. It's really going to be down to at least one other established PL club to have a nightmare season but the Bournemouths and Forests etc keep on winning.
