Errr, wrong. He’s been great and is getting better all the time. You don’t always notice him in games, but when you watch them back or at the game watch him, he ravages the defenders. Add in monster Delap and the opposition defences come off with at the very least a lot of bruises.
Szmodics is a clever player and has an eye for a goal. Both goals on Sunday were an example of that. The second was so simple yet so clever. Overlap Davis, call for it and rap it across into nightmare zone for defenders. Boom. He’s fast making that 10 shirt his and I can only see him improving.

I'd imagine that us Town fans more than anyone probably worried about the £9 mill seeing as though we haven't had a pot to pi55 in prior to Gamechanger coming in and went over 20 years without breaking our transfer record!
It certainly seems an absolute steal now though. I think he is a player that needs the fans behind him and he will keep going from strength to strength. |
Agree. I think the more vocal the fans are in support of Szmodics, the better he will get. I think he has been a brilliant signing, but then, I thought it at the time he signed. If we back him, he will flourish. |  |

Funny you say that. But it's a yes and no. There was a discussion many months ago about how grealish used to play v how he plays under pep. And the technique he has now is vastly different. Hence the phrase a grealish winger. I'll try find the link later but it was quite interesting. |  |
