We played great today, really could have won it with the two Delap chances and the chance for Chaplin.

What a save this was though from the Delap back-flick.

Really promising, you can see the players getting more into the McKenna methods with every match. Post-Christmas I feel we are really going to push on.

3 very good performances on the trot. As KM says, if the performances are good the results will follow.

It was a decent block, law of averages rather than a spectacular reaction save.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

Both were good but he really should have been given no chance with that first. XG must have been 0.99. As was said below, just threw himself in the way.

Only slight blot on another exceptional performance from Delap imho.

Whether we stay up or go down, if things keep moving in this direction we could expect the thick end of £100m* for him and Omari in the summer.

*albeit I have no idea how much the City buy back is, or if indeed there is one.

How do you have an XG of more than 1 for a shot at goal?!

Please, don't.....the thought of losing Omari if we don't stay up makes me very unhappy. Surely the best talent we've had at the club for a couple of decades.

I mean I know what you're saying, and we would probably have to do it if we're relegated....I just don't want to think about it.

Poll: So what do we think will happen with MM and the Aston Villa job?

We’re now seeing an incremental increase in XG game on game - keep this up and we’ll be OK. As KM says, get the stats right and the results will follow.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

You think Hutchinson is a bigger talent than Delap!??? Blimey.
