No team with Harry Clarke and Wes Burns down the right hand side is going to win a Premier League game sadly.

It's proving harder than we thought isn't it! I think we'll struggle to survive this now. We're just a little bit short all over. But like you say - we've come a long, long way.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

Too far? That’s only half tongue in cheek. It’s been an amazing journey, but currently looking like a step too far too soon. But we still have Jan (I don’t know if we’ve got the financial headroom though) and we do have some promising players. Plus there’s a long way to go of course. Starting to look like a big ask, but who knows. We’ve had wobbles before and then gone on barnstorming runs.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Ending the game with Taylor, Clarke, Chaplin, Al-Hamadi etc is just so weak. We've seen the same game twice against Forest and Palace.

Allowed freedom that we've done nothing with. Opposition score on the hour and then shut the game down and allow us to play it around at the back and create one half chance after 20 minutes of build up play.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
Poll: At present who do you think you'll vote for?

We have shown we are good enough to compete but the last two matches have seen us fail to create much and the opposition grind out 1-0 wins. We are missing Hirst and the inability to sign a 3rd striker is showing. I still think we will make a decent fist of trying to stay up but I am now thinking relegation is more likely than survival.

Yet we only looked like scoring when they were on.

We need to play attacking football, as we always concede.
Passing it around the penalty area didn't work as Palace worked it out from the start.
We needed the occasional longer diagonal pass, the kind that Burgess delivers. Oh.
The only way we can survive is to take risks and win the odd game 3-2. We are not a 1-0 team in any way, shape or form.

Unfortunately we are every part a 1-0 team playing how we did the last two matches!

Very disappointing game, we've definitely come along way in the last few years, although we didn't always play well but we created lots of chances and scored loads, which always gives you a chance.
This season 13 goals in 14 games, 1in the last 3,
BBC say we had 2 shots on target tonight, I'm assuming Harry's and Delaps headers. Which is terrible against a poor team like Palace.
We need to somehow find a way to increase our chances then we may be ok
