Why oh why can we never change our precious shape (that clearly isn’t working) to actually have a go? 1-0 down at home against a team we’re battling against relegation with and you leave a 30+ goal scorer from last season on the bench unused.

This is certainly a take. The guy that has started the last several games back to back? That guy? He's gonna be fed up soon because he didn't play one game? And he probably didn't play because our manager preferred the attributes of some other players in his squad?

It did concern me when I looked at the team for those 2.
Some people though Clarke had a good game. I didn't see it. As you say he's a bit too lightweight. is easily pushed off the ball.
Not sure why Szmodics wasn't playing. We don't have the luxury of rotating players around and he's been better than both of those today. Presumably not fit enough but why is he on the bench then.
Our subs last season we our weapon. This season, understandably, aren't as if at all effective. | | | |

Of course he isn't. He has started most games and probably starts the next. He's living his dream to play on the Prem. If anything he'll be even more motivated. This is just a tough, unforgiving league. | |
