Crowd last night 06:49 - Dec 4 with 1639 views | victorysquad | We lost our home advantage last night as nobody was up for it This was reflected on the pitch, end of All this other nonsense of we cannot compete is rubbish, we have proven we can Palace fans were up for it, and they got the result, no coincidence So if the fans cannot be arsed to sing, then if the players are feeding off of that we cannot be surprised at the outcome McKenna said how important we are, so anyone that was there last night and did not sing, hang yoyr head in shame, they needed us and we were not there. If you are not up for it, give your season tickets back to someone who will make a difference North stand, hang your head on your head in shame. [Post edited 4 Dec 2024 6:52]

No home wins, started the game with no real intensity, any surprise the fans didn’t have that edge to them?

But isn't that the rime when the fans need to up their game? Cheering winning teams is easy, showing SUPPORT when your team most needs you is more important. Last night our fans let the team down. I remember being at Wembley in 2000, the.biggest cheer, or swell of support came when Barnsley went one up. That's what proper fans do.

Might as well not bother going then with that attitude. Let the player play in front of 30K empty seats
Crowd last night on 07:39 - Dec 4 with 1240 views | WubbleU | I think the whole club just fell flat yesterday, who was really excited for the game last night? Felt like both us and the team had a bit of a hangover, perhaps the two year party is coming to an end. That doesn't have to mean moaning and negativity, just time to get real. No one can say the team which finished last night is Premier League standard. We have an 11 which can make the standard but not a 25 man squad. The bench can't make an impact. Bad night where the truth was laid out in front of us and that meant we weren't quite up for mayhem.
Crowd last night on 07:40 - Dec 4 with 1234 views | blueboyd | I am not convinced that we have proven we can compete in every game we play, arguably against the bigger teams we tend to play better and teams who we need to be beating to stand any chance of survival we find very difficult to play against. Unfortunately on here and on Twitter there is so much bravado especially with all the Morsy stuff that "we will sing his name LOUD" and pathetically there was one rendition of his song, the flat atmosphere on a Tuesday night at home was due to us looking like we are struggling to survive this season. North stand was incredibly quiet, other stands do sing but not everyone does, and it tends to be that we don't all hear the same atmosphere given the size of the stadium. Never convinced by the whole 12th man personally, we as fans react to what we see on the pitch, it is the same as life, you react to what you see. If the play is poor, and it really was, then it is tough to get up and be vocal, it is easier for people to express frustration moaning and groaning. It was more noisy with smaller crowds of people supporting the team through thick and thin, we still have fans who do not know how to find their seat, let alone be fully up for a riotous noise fest! Crowd last night on 07:42 - Dec 4 with 1207 views | TownieRob | As bad as I can remember over the last three years. As mentioned, the idea of a midweek atmosphere feels like a bit of a myth to me. The crowd seemed very tense, are people really enjoying being in the best league in the world? There were far more moans and groans last night about passing backwards when a forward pass wasn’t on. It’s strange that, even now, people struggle to appreciate that patience has been such a key part of our build-up over the last three years. It was a really disappointing night, but we keep moving forward. Onto Sunday.. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

To add, that’s not how I think fans should behave. Just explaining why I think it was flat
