For anyone who went to Wolves, how was it after the game getting out the ground and onto trains etc? Hope there weren't any unpleasant incidents?

I've never found Wolverhampton to be a particularly friendly place at the best of times and can imagine the locals would be absolutely spoiling for some agro

Little set to outside the station but no punches thrown and 2 coppers split it up

Good, was concerned for the Town fans heading home. Lucky it's not the 80s and 90s any more or it would surely have been a different story with the last min winner

All good. Was speaking to a couple of Wolves fans afterwards and they are split over their manager. They are convinced he can turn it around, but they may be forced to sell a couple in January due to FFP (or whatever it's called these days). They fear they will go down, but not convinced a new manager would be any better.
Didn't see any trouble, but I parked quite near the ground, so was out of there quite quickly.

Poll: New hobby suggestions for NeedhamChris.

Cunha's the obvious one to go, albeit has the quality on the pitch at least that they don't want to be letting go

Looks to have a pretty poisonous attitude though

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

The Wolves fans i spoke with made the point it was owners who sold their best players in the summer, and if you lose your best players you struggle. Even Pep has struggled with Rodri out injured. But as they also said the owners aren't going to change, so the manager will get the blame and lose his job. But they were also convinced a new manager won't make any difference.
All the Wolves fans I came across today were fine.

Didn’t see any agro at all. I was expecting Wolves fans to be a bit more toxic, but they seemed very flat. Was earwigging some on the train and they seemed to be resigning themselves to relegation.

Probably all just beating Kally up in his half and half shirt.

We’ll be good again... one day

Yeah, Wolves used to be horrendous. The shops around the ground would close and board up their windows on match days.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

There are always a few young lads tanked up on kopparberg who think it’s ok to wander through the opposition town centre singing “(add town name here) is a sihthole, I wanna go home”. Often in very busy places with loads of home fans present. Happened on the train from New Street today. They’d run a mile if it kicked off and wolves always used to be a bit naughty, as has been said elsewhere on this post.

Everybody’s favourite traveller was being a nuisance outside the station after.

No trouble at all today. Although we did park close by so soon got away. To be honest their fans seemed so flat they didn't have the enthusiasm to fight for anything.

I parked 15 - 20 minutes walk from the ground and at one point a large group of Wolves fans crossed the road at a pelican crossing and me and my lad ended up in the middle of them. Despite him being in a Town shirt no one spoke to us or commented out loud about us, they were all just moaning about their team, no heart, no fight, no leadership ect. Seemed like a genuine bunch of football fans to me, no issue with us at all. I did get flashbacks to our Championship relegation from their comments tho.

Yeah, generally more apathy than toxicity. They seemed a pretty humble bunch really on the evidence I saw. No real ego about them, just disappointment at where they’re at which is fair enough. It’s not long ago they were an excellent side under Nuno.
