I’m about to make the most ridiculous whinge I have ever made on here 14:41 - Dec 22 with 2215 viewschicoazul

Just looking at sky football and it seem there is NO live premier league football on sky on Boxing Day. I have worked the last few boxing days. Is this the norm now? Cos that’s some BS if so. Boxing Day is all about football on telly! What do I pay their ridiculous fees for??

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

It's supposedly better for the fans if the TV coverage is spread around, so we have to pay for 3 subscriptions instead of 1 if wanting to see all gameweeks

You pay their fees so you also have to pay someone else’s fees if you want to watch it on Boxing Day. Or someone else’s again if you would like to watch the FA Cup. Or someone else’s if you fancy a bit of Champions League.

Isn’t capitalism great?

In fairness, if you use Amazon quite a bit for purchases, then it’s worth subscribing to Prime to get free deliveries which comes with Prime Video, Prime photo storage and Amazon music for free.

It’s less for the entire year than my monthly Sky fee.

Agreed on that one actually. And as much as I hate what Amazon has done to the high street, it’s so bloody convenient!
