And as if you can choose when you go up. Let’s schedule promotion in for 3 years time lol. You go up when you deserve to over the course of the season. There’s no guarantee we’d have got better in future years and gone up more PL ready. Get promoted and deal with it. |  |

So if we had gone up next season, we’d still have had most of the same players we have now. Delap, SS, Greaves and Hutch would have gone elsewhere so we’d still have had to face the same recruitment issues we did this year. At least this year we’ve had a taste of what it takes to compete in this league so we’ll know what players to recruit next time we get here (if we do go down) |  | | |

We haven’t. The issue is, to save your synapses a little is the gulf in class; the August window ending after the season has started; the need for Championship clubs to buy half a new squad to be competitive and the the stop-start International breaks.

Worse case scenario, going up enabled us to spend £100m on TOP young Championship players for us to have a really good chance of coming back up if we are to come straight back down..

Throwing 15pts away from winning positions tells its own story. This in itself will get better the more familiar our squad becomes with each other. 12pts an 0 home wins wasn’t the plan but can we hit 25 pts or so in the second half of the season? It’s plausible. | | | |

Hmm. Defence is improving. More so with KM finally going back to the spurs set up. But I don't see any improvement amongst the attacking players no matter what combination we go for it's not that good and at the moment not good enough to keep us up..
We've signed 2 new players on the left side and neither suits it and we only have 1 striker and 1 regularly injured one.
We have 3 options for the other attacking role and broadhead seems to be a mile away from starting by the sounds of km. And the other two blow so hot and cold you don't know which version you're going to get on matchday and our right sided options consists of a player who can't play all season now and burns who can't beat any prem player for pace. | |

'gone up too early' is about the most batsht thing I've heard.
You mean you didn't want us to get £100 million to spend on players ? And it would have been better to get way less money, maybe have to sell the good ones we do have and if we buy, it's likely to be upper Div 1 quality players.
And probably without KM.
