No idea who’s into Whiskey or Bourbon. 00:21 - Jan 9 with 1675 views | Cheltenham_Blue | Got bought a new one (for me) at Christmas, ‘Larceny’ by heck it’s nice. Reminds me of a Canadian Whiskey, ‘Black Velvet’ which gets you drunk, weirdly, from the legs up. [Post edited 9 Jan 0:21]

Sounds very nice from what I'm reading about it online. Eagle Rare is probably my favourite affordable tipple so far. Bulleit is a cracking budget drink though, really drinkable.

I can recommend Jura for an affordable single malt, or The Sexton Irish whiskey if you're pushing the boat out (though obviously operating any such craft when drinking is not advisable).

No idea who’s into Whiskey or Bourbon. on 10:22 - Jan 9 with 1214 views | Churchman | I’ve had plenty of bourbon in my time and like it. If in America, i tend to stick with Jack Daniels with a lot of ice. My preference though is single malt scotch. They’re all nice but particular faves are: Glenlivet Talisker Singleton I got given a Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve at Christmas. I don’t usually like messed about single malts, but this one is nice. Recommended.

Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve - Is that by chance matured in Rum casks? That type of process seems all the rage at the moment, although I notice Haig Club have now released an orange flavoured Whiskey. Not sure about that.

No idea who’s into Whiskey or Bourbon. on 10:43 - Jan 9 with 1190 views | nodge_blue | I get bought Whiskey even though I don't love it. I got a bottle of "the singleton" for xmas. A single malt 12 years old. Sayit has notes of honey, nuts and coffee. But all I taste is some sort of peaty fire. Why don't they just write, Tastes of peat bog on a summers day, mixed with burning hay. Can I add the only whiskey I have truly loved is Tennessee Fire. JD mixed with cinnamon. That is nice. Caribbean Rum barrels. It works well, despite me not liking dark rum! Weird. I had a bottle of Talisker Storm a year or two back and I didn’t like that at all. Like flavouring gin and vodka yes, that sort of process seems to be in fashion. [Post edited 9 Jan 12:29]

No idea who’s into Whiskey or Bourbon. on 12:43 - Jan 9 with 1004 views | Rozz | I did a project with Macallan last year around their 200th anniversary bottle (impressive in itself, being an 84 year old single malt), but which included a trip up to install at the distillery in Easter Elchies. Fascinating place - sadly somewhat wasted on me, a non-whisky drinker. https://www.themacallan.com/en/single-malt-scotch-whisky/time-space I didn't get to try any! [Post edited 9 Jan 15:37]
