..How greatly do we feel our chances improve in the shootout for 17th with Wolves if the spectacles crusher is removed from that equation? Interesting to see how we’re improving our squad this month while seemingly Wolves, and our other rivals, can’t afford to? Southampton possibly cashing in on Dibling already seeing as their season is toast

It's not just his goals, it's the message to the other players, and potential that the morale would be crushed.

Everything about that club looks doomed, let's hope they are weakened.

Dibling is out for 4-6 weeks so doubt they'll sell him this window.

It's not Wolves im worried about, I wouldn't put it past Leicester to start firing again soon.

Spurs Away, Everton Away, Arsenal Home, Brentford Home, and West Ham away are their next 5 - there are some very winnable matches in that run. Whatever happens, town has to be putting more points on the board pretty quick.

Massively, top scorer, 2nd assists, top chances created on 33 with next best on 17. They’d be mad to sell him.

It would be absolutely huge for us if he did leave which is now looking more likely than not ...

He's got 10 goals, Strand Larsen has 7 ... next closest is 3. You're removing 30% of their goals on top of the fact they have the worst defence in the whole PL.

I think that depends on their ability to replace him. Chances are the fee would be pretty good so they may have a few quid to buy a replacement, but with time starting to get short before the end of the window that job gets harder. It's already tough enough to find a striker in January as we well know.

It could be big, both in terms of ability and squad motivation with their best player going out. But it depends on who they bring in to replace him, if they got Awonyi as well as an effective replacement 10, could be different.

S'oton are trimming ahead of relegation - simple as that.

They’ve lost 7 on the trot and look in all kinds of trouble.

Not saying it won’t happen but definitely not one I’m particularly concerned about.

I don't want to be right about it by no means, but given how we've been on the beneficial side of people underestimating us after lapses in form, I am cautious to do the same to another side who are very much in the mix.

Very winnable matches? Really? Even Spurs are better on their own patch. Brentford you could argue is their only decent chance given their dreadful form away from West London.

It also could help us if they pick something up against Everton. Put it this way, that Saints win against them that we were bemoaning earlier in the season looks handy right now.

Spurs are an injury ridden mess who have 1 point in six games, form wise, they are exactly the kind of team that Leicester would want to be facing at the moment. All you have to do is look at the league table to see why they have a good run ahead of them - certainly much more comfortable than ours.

And you think Leicester are any better?!

If Leicester get more than 4 points from that 5-game run I'll be gobsmacked.

I'm not trying to allude that they're better, but I wouldn't be shocked if they grind out some results across those matches. They certainly shouldn't be discounted and put out to pasture by no means.

Mate, they've lost seven on the spin, scoring two goals in the process.

They've averaged 2.70 goals conceded per away game all season.

The defence they have isn't capable of grinding out anything.

I hope your right, in fact, I will be happier than a pig in poo if I am wrong on this one. I'm just not quite ready to view it as a 2 horse race just yet.

And we shouldn't do either. We are in absolutely no place to discount anybody.

I'll give us a pass Saturday obviously but we need to go 'operation pick up points and help ourselves' after that. We'll be down to a dozen games left pretty soon.

It would be so Ipswich if we got a point vs Liverpool.

I am worried about Southampton too, that game could set us up mentally for the last leg of the season - but fail to win and it could completely boblocks the mental strength of the dressing room.

All the pressure will be on us, they will start playing with freedom due to their position, lets hope they nik a point or so beforehand just to lull them into a false sense of security.

Although they have Newcastle...

If we don't beat saints I'd say we're done all confidence which must be getting fragile now will wain,
Win and a big 3 points and confidence,
I fear that game saints managers turning them but there still weak at the back but we're weak up front,
