Yes. Despite a poor couple of results we’re not out of it. I do think Davis and Morsy could be rotated more often, and even Delap tbh (he’s not the messiah, just a very good striker…) but we have the means to get enough points to stay up. What I do think we need to do is give our gifted forward players more freedom to create chances. The cut backs and pauses are scripted and calculated, but they’re almost always fizzling out against prem opposition. More quick attacks and taking a chance on a through ball or early cross will be necessary I think.
Saying ‘pub side’ is absolutely ridiculous. We’ve landed in Brobdingnag, these opposing teams are all giants, and we need to use every little sliver of a chance we get. |  | | |
