Pub side 15:49 - Jan 25 with 4994 views | cressi | We look like a pub side can't keep the ball find a man. If by some miracle we stay up we have to be so much better defensively and protecting the defensive with the midfield.

But we obviously are? Do you watch our games? We’re a side trying to counter attack that isn’t very good at counter attacking.

We aren't getting battered every week though. We've had about 4 or 5 games that have got away from us and we've lost heavily, other than that we've been pretty competitive for most of the season. It shouldn't be this hard to not overreact to a three goal defeat away at the league leaders.

But we're not battered every week Blooos. That's what Herbs is saying. And as for the OP saying we're a pub side, we're a pub side who just scored against one of the best sides in Europe.

Fact is we aren’t in games at the moment. We concede first and we’re done. Brighton for example, they’ve just lost at home to Everton, they battered us, 3 shots from outside the box in the first half shouldn’t blind us from a cr@p performance.

I made a reference to our first half performance. Although Liverpool probably took their foot of the gas it was a better second half from Town more so when when the subs were made. I was there the day we lost 9-0 at old Trafford and never ever want to see such a inept embarrassing display where I don't wish to engage with people for weeks.

I’m afraid the wet pants brigade will have another enjoyable few days. Oh well. You are of course right and being realistic which clearly doesn’t sit well with some. We were never going to get anything but a good hiding off Man City the Champions, and Liverpool the Champions to be and so it’s proved. The season sort of starts next week for me. We need to start winning games we have a chance in starting then. A reset. Where can we improve? A midfield that controls games or bits of them. Not against the likes of City L’pool and Newcastle - I too am a ST holder and I’ve seen just how strong these teams are. Forget it. But the lower teams are opportunities. The other aspect is the amount of changes week in week out. I know it’s a squad game but a settled side might help. But then I’m an armchair or plastic seat at home fan, so I suspect KM knows a little more than me! If the players stop giving 100%, I’ll be concerned. The horror games are done for now. No overreaction necessary. We are what we are. Onwards and upwards. COYB

We are in games. We were well in the Brighton game until they scored, in fact we'd had most of the chances in that game including a good one for Burns before they scored. They then sh!thoused the last 30 minutes and nicked another goal, teams at this level aren't easy to come back against. Your description of how we've been doing in most games, bar a handful that we've not been in, just isn't accurate.

Think you’re downplaying the situation - Liverpool are one of the best teams in world football. No shame in being beaten by them. Southampton next week which, if we win and Wolves lose, means that we’ll be two points clear of the bottom three. Totally changes the overall picture especially if Cunha leaves Wolves which is also likely.

Said a few weeks ago that I really don't think some people have yet worked out just how good Prem teams are. The difference between a good Championship team and an average Prem one is enormous.

If you've had a season ticket since 2005 then you should have slightly different expectations against teams that could claim to be among the 10 best in the world.

With the utmost respect, if a game of football caused you to not want to talk to people for weeks, then perhaps watching the game isn't for you. It is obviously bad for your mental well-being. Try short mat bowls, maybe? [Post edited 25 Jan 18:11]

Top goalscorer in France this season 12 from 18 so yes I'd have him. Plus the lady who made all the accusations is still with him having their second child but hey ho.

Accusation? I think anyone has heard it wouldn’t say it’s an “accusation” . It’s just a fact. Because she decided to stay with him (for no doubts the lifestyle and money) that doesn’t make it acceptable And I would rather get relegated than have that, in our team

It sounds quite a lot like you are minimising allegations of domestic violence so serious that the Glazers were willing to write off a £100 million asset over. And have no understanding of the effects of coercive control, which he was charged with, until key witnesses withdrew cooperation from the prosecution, after alleged murder threats. Or that you are unaware that the Police, who had interviewed all relevant witnesses, wanted to proceed with the prosecution even after the key witnesses withdrew. https://stuyspec.com/article/a-breakdown-of-the-mason-greenwood-allegations
