In fairness - playing the best club side for the last decade and European winners, and the champions elect and current European number 1 side - I’m not sure what people expect. Did anyone. Actaimym expect anything?

No-one's getting triggered. Just some think it's a bit off - and a bit weird, frankly - when two teams are playing each other, that one gets loads of analysis and the other doesn't even get mentioned. Not even one word.
I'm not even bothered that the big teams get more of a mention, and I'm not particularly after sympathetic analysis. It's just odd that in a two team competition, one of the teams gets no mentions that they were even there (after the actual commentary).

Maybe I didn't pay it close enough attention but I certainly watched it before and don't remember the opposition not even getting a mention. But regardless, even if it did happen before there's nothing wrong with pointing out it's odd. You wouldn't have a written match report, anywhere, that didn't offer any analysis of one of the teams. | |
