I probably agree it’s a must win, the danger in positioning like this means we don’t accept second half of the season improvements are possible once we settle into Feb. As it stands, we’ve lost three on the trot, we need to stop that first then build from there. If we win, that would be very welcome but if we don’t the narrative is that the season is practically over. We can’t have the season being over in Feb, performances go only one way once relegation is accepted. | |

As much as they've become a meme, I'm astonished they have such a paltry points total. They've shown up nicely in several games I've seen.
They will be looking at next Saturday as a game they can win, no doubt about it.

There is no easy game for us this season and only a few months ago it was one of our toughest fixtures of last season.
However, we couldn't ask for a better fixture at this moment and have to make the most of it. It will take patience from fans though. We aren't going to be 3-0 up against them by half-time and they will have plenty of the ball and may get a goal. At that point we as fans have to make some noise in every corner of the ground. | |

Considering we did the double over Saints last season when the discrepancy between our squads was much larger, failure to beat a struggling Saints side who have only won once this season and missing their star player Dibling would mean we have regressed.
Would like to see the team go all out attack from the whistle, no more fannying at the back and backwards passing all game like the past few we had. Saints are a de facto Championship team and we should treat this just like the games we had last season. |
Agree with this, we need to approach this on the front foot, we are the home team.
It’s for them to try and keep it tight, get the crowd frustrated in the first 20 minutes.
