Can someone clear up this rule for me...... 21:42 - Jan 27 with 1495 views | Vaughan8 | When we played Arsenal Odegaard got fouled (apparently.,.....) and received treatment and didn't have to go off for 30 seconds. People said on here it is because if you are fouled then that 30 seconds off doesn't count. Sounds reasonable. Haven't thought much about it until now, watching the Burnley v Leeds, Brownhill has just down while being fouled, received treatment and had to go off for 30 seconds?

As long as the treatment is done ‘quickly’ (don’t you just love the way they keep introducing subjective criteria into the Laws of the Game?).

You say that like subjectivity is new... Goal scoring opportunity, violent conduct, diving, the list of subjective decisions goes on and on. I'd say this one is one of the least controversial

This makes absolutely no sense. You can get a yellow card for persistent fouling. If you foul players A, B, C and D, and then get a yellow for persistent fouling, why the hell should it cause player D not to have to go off, when exactly the same (unlawful) tackle on player D without first having committed any fouls would cause him to have to go off?

Oh I agree, it’s not at all new. But they can’t help themselves in adding more. It’s as if they do it deliberately to create controversy to get people talking and generate more publicity.
