Greatest Ipswich Team to never win any silverware? 11:20 - Jan 31 with 1331 views | SaffronWaldenBlues | I just saw this on a Leeds channel in terms of their greatest team to never win any silverware.. With that in mind, which Ipswich team was the greatest to not win any silverware? You could argue that the 22/23 and 23/24 sides should have won their respective divisions. A large chunk of the 00/01 team technically won silverware with the Playoffs in 2000. I would argue that 2000/01 is probably our best team to have not won something in my lifetime, but there were great teams in the 70s here who definitely should have which I did not see.

Would have won the title based on 3 points for a win. Robbed of the FA Cup.

Correct answer based on narrowing it down to one season. It was a good 6 or 7 years before my Town supporting time so didn't see them myself either but can't think of a better example, certainly at the highest level. Early exit from Europe that season mind.

I don't agree you can't count 1961/62 as "silverware" any longer, and the Championship Play-Offs is nothing to be sniffed at, we had to play 49 games to win that! Takes some doing!

Greatest Ipswich Team to never win any silverware? on 13:17 - Jan 31 with 796 views | gsoly | Since 2001, it has to be the 2022-23 team. It almost feels weird now to consider that we lost out on the league title to Plymouth.

Lincoln at home and Oxford away were where we lost it, Oxford should have never been finished!
