Especially if they are incredibly easy to push off the ball, can't pick a simple pass and hang on to the ball too long when said simple pass is on.
Please can we continue to flog Liam Delap for the full 90 and leave George Hirst on the bench until the last knockings of the game. I'd like to see our highest paid player and a former England international on our bench whilst a 9 million pound goalkeeper inspires no confidence in team mates or supporters.
Oh, and in the final few minutes when desperate for a goal, can we pass it sideways, or better still, backwards.

Agreed Enciso is a class signing, gives a genuine different option up front and will be an important player until the end of the season, but Philogene on the other hands looks unnecessary at best . |  | | |

I can't understand why Phillips isn't starting. Loyalty is one thing but it is going to cost us.
So many times this game we had the opportunity to deliver the ball into the box and we just went sideways or back. Surprisingly, Leif was guilty of this a number of times. Confidence all round is shot. Philogene looked terrified
Enciso showed how it should be done and he's a player who is here because he can't get in the team at Brighton.

In hindsight, spending more on a proven top-flight GK was the way to go. £20m Hutchinson, £20m Philogene, £15m Delap, £15m Clarke, £15m Greaves, £12m O'Shea, £10m Szmodics, £8m Ogbene.. Muric was one of our cheaper signings with £10m initial fee. Presumably we didn't set out to skimp here and just placed too much faith in that analytics company, or too much faith in one third of a PL season. | | | |
