Hearing a few whispers about City getting all these points deducted. Are we seriously considering a scenario where if we are still in the relegation zone we might stay up because of a City points deduction?

As an aside, if City do get a high penalty points deduction which all buts relegates them - would have to be 50 at the very least - I can Leicester sacking van Nistelrooy.

They should never have appointed him in the first place. That was a bonkers decision. They needed someone with experience of fighting the drop.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Its a mancunian pronunciation. Think of one of the Gallagher scruffs.

I get that but most try to use it in a mocking way and it seems a bit naff.

I think they arrogantly thought they were appointing a manager to steer them higher in the league, not to navigate a relegation battle.

City fans have owned this.
They have produced and proudly wear CITEH T-shirts.
Give it a Google.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

It’s a reference back to the 1990s when they were still at MR, we were on a par with them in the second tier and vying for promotion together (remember that?! Our roads split monumentally when we were then bought by rather different owners…).

Anyway, back then before the split, their fans kept saying they, “citeh”, were “massive”, so fans of other clubs including ourselves and Leeds fans in sports bars in Leeds took to calling them “the massives” and “citeh”, mockingly.

Poll: Town's most cultured left foot ever?
