Can anybody else boast of such a long unbeaten away record?

I went to 33 away games over 23 years without seeing a single away win.

I would imagine not now as the away tickets is mostly a closed shop so a lot of people who go are going to have seen a loss this season.
Presumably your son must be going instead of someone else for those games so I suspect only someone who is doing that would have any chance of a 9 game unbeaten away run, unless it spans over a number of years. | | | |

Funnily enough, I'd been thinking about this as when we played Norwich last year it was first 'proper' defeat I'd seen in my 26th away trip under McKenna! I say 'proper' as the only one in that time we got beaten was the fog disaster at Oxford, which we all know should have been null and void given both managers said they wanted it abandoned and the ref gave them false information. So I'm not recognising it! ;o)
Actually I was surprised to find I've seen less defeats than non-defeats even this season - 6 to 5. And that is counting the penalty defeat at Wimbledon too. | | | |
