Things that you look back on and think ‘wtf was that’ 00:00 - Mar 7 with 8075 views | The_Romford_Blue | Just had something come up reminding me of the weekly ‘clap for the NHS’. Wtaf was that about. The gesture originally was well intended but I wonder how patronising they felt it was. All the while we all had one group of neighbours who were judgmental about who was or was not clapping.

Things that you look back on and think ‘wtf was that’ on 17:00 - Mar 7 by VanSaParody | ...& there's the response! "Labour won convincingly" (or, by a 'landslide') was the response I expected & someone fell right into the heffalump trap! Sorry, you don't get a prize! The wtf moment is all the crowing about the 'landslide'! Let's have a think... Say your favourite team in blue, are playing against some team in, oh, let's say red. It's 0-0 as we enter the last 15 mins, but the blues have a mad 5 minutes & have four players sent off The reds go on to win 5-0 or 6-0 It's a little embarrassing to call it an historic, or great win, or a 'landslide victory' I think the fact that the Tories absolutely deserved to be kicked out is beside the point The margin of Labour's win was only a technicality, on the basis that so many 'blues' went missing on polling day, rather than switched their vote to Labour. Labour attracted just about the amount of votes they'd normally expect. Tory voters either abstained, or their votes went elsewhere (not Tory, but certainly not to Labour) So, for me, I cringe every time someone mentions the 'landslide' (& for the record, no I didn't vote Tory!) |
What a bizarre thing to waste your energy thinking about.

I’m guessing you cringing at my reply pales into insignificance with the amount of ‘what the f**ks’ your strange post would have generated. Truly bizarre.
