Can not believe how poor he has been. Clearly, the step up to the prem is too much for him

15 million for a Championship defender. Worlds gone mad.

I made this point last week and everyone shut me down. I actually felt bad about it. McKenna is fuming so I think the penny has dropped!

Woolf has got it badly wrong for the 3rd as well, hasn't he? Easily managed away by their midfielder, it should have been a contested header.

Delap and Enciso have been bad up front

I didn't shut you down, as I agree!

There's no rational explanation I can see for KM to keep playing expensive signings over previous seasons' players who've proved, depite the step up, that they're better players, other than him being instructed to from higher up.

He was beaten. Happens. Its why your mate covers in behind to allow you to challenge. Except he didn't.

I’ve wanted Burgess in for ages but there’s no way you can put all three on Greaves.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

You absolutely can.

First was his ball. He shouts and clear it andw e are good. Delap doesnt have to stretch.

2nd he backed off and gave the attacker as much space as he wanted all the way into a shooting position.

3rd he was covering but on his heels.

I prefer Burgess to Greaves but I don't feel one's objectively much better than the other. Burgess played when Newcastle embarrassed us 4-0, when City humbled us 6-0 and when Brentford won 4-3. He wasn't part of our two clean sheets this season.

In respect to our other players, I also can't think of one who's being sidelined due to an irrational explanation. Broadhead, for instance, offered no improvement in his 25' against Man Utd, was poor in his start against Forest and offered little in his 15' against Palace. I like the guy and only make the point because many say he's suffered a great injustice; personally, I just don't see that. We have quite a few players performing at similar levels, which leads to upset when the crowd favourite doesn't get the nod. I believe Clarke's work without possession nudges him above Broadhead in the pecking order, but neither have looked quite good enough really.
