What a fantastic man and manager.

Just over 3 years since that sickening end to the game at Oxford when Celina gave us the hope we might even make the play offs from a way back after the shaky start to the season such was KM's immediate impact.

Was great day out before that 96th minute. I got COVID from that game too.

Great little cameo from Bonne when he came on.

The football was so exciting. Loved that Celina goal. We knew we were onto something good even though we were going to be short of play offs.

I mention it whenever conversation refers to "when we knew we were onto something good" - playing Wigan at home towards the end of the same season, they were promoted or as good as. We somehow drew 2-2 but we were so much better than them it made no sense they were finishing top and us 11th. They were kicking for touch for the majority of the second half, at least that's what it felt like.

Poll: Pick a goal to win the derby in stoppage time...

Good memory! Yeah, I remember that game now you've mentioned it. We had them on the ropes.

I remember Crewe away towards the end and Charlton at home of course. We knew we were going places.

I still remember being in the stands for that game away at Gillingham. Yes Gillingham were tragic but my word it was like watching a league 2 team play a top prem team in the cup. We were just cutting through them.

Nobody in world football I would rather have as our gaffer.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

Rained and rained but we didn't care because it was like watching Brazil...

The movement was immediately obvious and the desire and playing patterns.

Blimey, didn't think his contract paid THAT well.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I honestly can’t fathom why some people on here want rid of him.

McKenna has been fantastic for us and will continue to be with support and if he wants to be here. I hope he stays, obviously.

Regardless of this season, regardless of what we have got right or wrong this time around - and I have had frustrations of course.

But make no mistake, KMc is absolutely untouchable for me - completely adore the man.
