So given the club are selling Brentford tix to ST holders tomorrow on 20:42 - Apr 15 with 2927 views | Dennyx4 | There are about 300 left, but nearly all are restricted view in the west stand. In fairness if I miss the queue or the ballot I assume no more tickets are available and don’t even bother to look. I know that’s the same for other fans I know, people have got frustrated in how hard it’s been to get tickets and given up - the demand is there for sure.
So given the club are selling Brentford tix to ST holders tomorrow on 07:55 - Apr 16 with 2336 views | itfc48 | Could be that a few have experienced an RV seat before and decided not to bother as some of the seats are really restricted. There was also an issue with the reminder email going out. But yes still bit of a surprise given how much demand there was early on.

“ a few have experienced an RV seat before and decided not to bother as some of the seats are really restricted.” …surely not being able to see the game is a plus point this season… Just snapped some up thanks for heads up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
So given the club are selling Brentford tix to ST holders tomorrow on 08:08 - Apr 16 with 2292 views | SuffolkPunchFC | They forgot (claimed technical issue) to send out a notification email to members for Brentford - it arrived Monday afternoon, after sales began - instead of the normal 24hr notice. Most know now that if you don’t have a ticket within 15 minutes of sales starting, that your chance is limited and you get the dregs as the odd RV and SRV seat are released from people’s pending basket.

Yeah I mentioned this to my brother late afternoon as he had missed the sale due to the lack of email. He wasn't even going to bother look given how previous sales have gone but I looked on the off-chance and he ended up buying some RV's. I imagine a fair few had that same thought.

The restricted view seats at Ipswich are nothing like those at Crystal Palace where it wasn't possible to see the far touchline because of a TV gantry the length of the stand.

Try North stand lower near the front seats 1,2,3. You can't see half of the pitch especially when those in the lower West Stand stand up when we're attacking the goal.

A 30,000 capacity is enough for most games in the Championship and the club has plenty of hospitality boxes/lounges and conference rooms now.

If we become an established Premier League club in the next 5 years, there is likely to be enough demand to fill 35k every week. This is what the owners have an eye on. So, if you're going to expand to 35k, you might as well push this a little higher - 38k+ IMO. Week in, week out this probably doesn't always sell out, but for the big games you do fill it. If that lot up the road don't get their act together, and we get established, then our catchment area expands North (will take time, as it will be based on attracting the new, young fans). The plan must be to own East Anglia by the end of the decade. That is where the crowds come from. And it's entirely plausible if we can achieve that goal to be an establish EPL club.

This is a decent analysis and I agree that's probably the intent. However, the wild card is that I would be uncertain whether the Premier League will still exist in its current form in a decade... Also - there will be some fans like me who will probably give up coming after 50 years as frankly the prospect of season after season in this awful uncompetitive league is one I dread and certainly not worth the extra money which will no doubt be piled on. Sad to say, but I'm looking forward to August this year far more than I was last year, even despite being overjoyed at our performance in 2023/4. The top flight and its circus and plastic fans is more like a punishment than a reward these days.

Also, the Cobbold stand and West stand are both quite old now, so will need replacing soonish regardless - if you're gonna replace them, you might as well increase capacity
So given the club are selling Brentford tix to ST holders tomorrow on 23:24 - Apr 16 with 1279 views | cymroglas | Its the first time I have seen so many RV and SRV tickets still for sale. Normally these are all sold for every home game - this comes from someone watching the portal like a hawk! I have entered the ballot for each home game this season and have been successful 3 times. Interesting because many on here predicted at the start of the season you would get 4 successful ballot tickets all season if you tried for every home game which was a good prediction. What being successful in the ballot has meant for me is avoiding RV or SVR seats. A fair few of the RV seats have been decent, but with some flexible neck movement! I agree with most that PR redevelopment is likely to come when we are fairly well established in the Premier League. The atmosphere at PR on the whole this season has been pulsating, despite the results . COYB!

Imo May was always going to be different due to holidays, cricket starting, weather etc especially when it’s only Brentford and follows a long and expensive trip to Everton. If it’s a choice between this match and final home match v West Ham, that’s also a bank holiday weekend, I think more people will choose the West Ham match and perhaps have decided to miss the Brentford match.
