Seeing that it is so open that even the team in 14th could still get promoted, whilst the team in 12th could still get relegated according to the BBC link below.
It would be nice to see the team in 13th taking on that challenge and seeing if they can get themselves relegated...

To be fair, I haven't factored in any possible quirks of the remaining fixtures, i.e chasing teams playing each other so someone will have to win points etc.

I’m surprised that only 1 game instead of 2 over the Easter weekend hasn’t been used as a reason to prefer the Championship.
Not sure that experiencing Gavin Ward’s refereeing without VAR is something to look forward to.
The quality of the football apart from the top three is woeful as well. It's so slow and most players don't get more than two touches before giving it away.

Apart from the ability of the top 2/3 to be relatively consistent, everyone else is all over the place. We watch Swansea a lot and they’ve gone from utter shoite with boring passing backwards and averaging about a point a game under Luke Williams to high tempo exciting football averaging 2 points a game under their caretaker Sheehan.
Blackburn who were looking good are now the worst team over the last 10 games. Over that same time, the form table is Burnley, Millwall, Bristol City, Swansea. At the start of that run those teams were 14th, 8th and 17th respectively.
Bottom Plymouth just beat Sheff U.
And I could go on. It’s bonkers. The one thing that stands out is that there are a lot of poor teams. We should be ok next year if we don’t lose too many players.

Good post ...yes definitely bonkers league..no one is promoted ,make the play offs or relagated till last 1 or two matches..even the previous season..the same....I still think the 3 coming down will constantly be in the first 4 or 5 all season...

Yeah, given the massive financial advantage relegated teams now have it would take a spectacular feck up to not at least be challenging for play off places in the first season back down. It’s not that long ago that teams did that though. Stoke is a good example. But something has to go seriously wrong.
14th are 10 pts off the play offs with 4 matches left. Mathematically they could get promoted still but it is reminiscent of those seasons where we kept saying we are only 6 points off the play offs as the season proceeded to yet another of mid-table mediocrity in our slow decline of 1000 cuts.
