Love Leif and all he has done for us and think him and Townsend competing for left-back next season would be fantastic, but he's been horrendous defensively this season. Although he doesn't seem to have learnt from any of mistakes, I'm hoping given a bit of time and space this summer and hopefully a good season next season he'll come back much better. | |

It could be a logical decision to appeal the red card, if Townsend isn't ready to start next week, as long as it guarantees Leif can start next week.
Unfortunately, it's not like we desperately need him, and he'd obviously be desperate to play against his home town club, and we all know McKenna is a sucker for sentiment. | |
