‘Norwich City we’re coming for you’ on 17:31 - Apr 26 by TractorWood | Thanks for asking. A few notes for new fans. Approve: - EEJB - Great Escape - He's only a little budgie - Anything to 7 nation army - Hark now here - Player specific songs mostly. Broadhead, Leif Davis etc. - Anything arbitrary to a by gone era. E.g. ooohhh Tony Mowbray Dislike: - We're the Right side, Left side over here. Should be an immediate ban - How s*it must you be we're winning away etc - Anything about Delia - Mind the gap in any form - Norwich City we're coming for you. Just due to our inability to ever beat them |
For what it's worth this is a pretty good list.

One thing that really annoys me as well is singing songs of players who are on the bench early on in games. For example there have been a couple of matches this year where Morsy has been dropped and within 10-15 minutes his song is sung, why not support the players on the pitch who replaced him?

‘Norwich City we’re coming for you’ on 17:06 - Apr 26 by TractorWood | Just use common sense. For example, singing 'Norwich City we're coming for you' when we've not beaten them in 15 years is not particularly intimidating. |
16 years* If it was the other way round then absolutely sing it

‘Norwich City we’re coming for you’ on 08:59 - Apr 27 with 631 views | DJR | I think people are over-thinking things or looking for faults. It's been clear that McKenna and the players have really appreciated our away support this season, particularly on occasions when things haven't gone right. As McKenna said to Brenner after the game "Seeing the supporters here up in the clouds and how vocal they were [at the end] and throughout the game was really inspiring for us". And as the Tweet that Keno posted on another thread put it. "That away end today might genuinely have been the best I’ve EVER witnessed at SJP. An absolute credit to their football club and our sport as a whole." In addition, a couple of Toon fans on the train back to London spoke very highly of our fans. And the fans in the adjoining stand applauded us at the end. [Post edited 27 Apr 9:05]

Sat in my hotel room on the Tyne reading up on the forum. Couple of points: - Finally getting an away EPL ticket (did Cov away) meant I could see my old uni flatmate whose a Geordie. Him and his mates said its rare as hen's teeth they clap the away fans and we 'earnt it' in their eyes. They also thought the 'coming for you/going to coventry' chants was a good humoured way of accepting our fate with class. - God won't the Delia chants die, please? I'm not lyrically blessed, but was musing alternative lyrics to the 'potato' one yesterday: 'She's just a little old lady Its not her club anymore Why don't we sing something else? Why don't we sing something else?' I won't give up the day job...

Also spoke to some Geordies after the game who thought the chants were good humoured. Not sure why people have such an issue with things like 'Norwich sh***y we're coming for you!' because simply we are and plan on getting revenge. As for the Delia ones, I get why they are sung - the hatred for her runs deep in so many given her previous support and the antics of following the coach last season.
