Rather cheap for a club in the Premiership.
That's the sort of money you'd expect to pay for a Championship club.

Oh wait.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

That's not the bargain it sounds like, didn't our investors get us for about £20 - 30 million, there's surely better value out there be it Southampton have better infrastructure in place?

I think ours was the bargain because it was a League 1 club with better infrastructure and potential. Theirs is the price of a Championship club with parachute payments which we certainly weren't. Our investors have turned that profit (if they wanted to materialise it by selling). There were no guarantees they couldn't have ended up with something like a Charlton or Bolton if it had all gone wrong. Of course, any new Southampton owner has the same possibilities but presumably will fancy themselves to build a Bournemouth or even Forest-type outcome.

I wouldn't be pointing and laughing too quickly, this could be exactly what they need to turn them around (if they managed to unearth a buyer with deep pockets like we did). Let's hope things drag on for a bit.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

We sold 40% of the club last season for almost as much as Saints are for sale for.

If my maths and the hype is correct, that £25m plus Tyler Dibling (I know he has no book value because he's come through the ranks and has never been transferred).

Perhaps Rupert Lowe will give us all a laugh and try again.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Lowe would have to deport at least half their players for being foreign. Country's full, mate.

I'm not sure you understand how it works. Some foreigners are fine. Just not those other ones.

That is true to be fair and of course they have much of the PL stuff all in place there, they have spent a decent portion of time there
