Clearly demonising DEI as a function
This sort of stuff is honestly so childish. An adult would take a look at council spending, see where the priorities are, see where savings can be made etc. Not just go in and say "we're cutting all these jobs that don't actually exist"

What? The roles arent there. The only reasons for saying this are (1) ignorance, and not knowing (despite satnding for election and intending this as a policy) that they dont exist; and/or; (2) because its populist rhetoric which plays well with racists. |  | | |

One of the issues I have with Reform is that they will often say things that provoke an emotional response in people who don't then question what they are being told.
The following today was a case in point.

As it is, what you say in the second paragraph is not the experience of my daughter. Indeed, she feels she has to tread carefully, especially with British values forming part of the curriculum. [Post edited 4 May 21:45]
