Fighting a completely unheard of Aussie really, only 12 career fights, certainly not a stadium type of main event for those outside the area to get excited about. Typical Miller, Mr. Unreliable.
They really needed Hrgovic to save this event. I think it will be a bit of a half empty stadium now unfortunately. [Post edited 2 May 18:11]

...the actual "ringside" seats are always reserved for promotors, celebs, sportsmen, guests etc.
You end up paying huge amounts for seats that are usually about 5 rows back.
I was watching the Benn v Eubank fight the other night and old Turkey Al Shake (?) was in the front row constantly standing up in front of the punters behind, I'd have been foooomin.
£150 tops for the best seats for this event, then £75, then £30. Sorted. | |

£150 for the ‘best seat in the house’ sounds about right.
That said, there will be a fair number of Essex/London chaps that would spend £300 on them (money coming from various sources **sniff**) | |

I looked at ringside and I think it was £400 including food and free bar. I thought it was quite reasonable but only from the point that I’ve never been to a professional boxing match and I thought the price to be close to the action would be worth it - bearing in mind I’ll probably never have the opportunity to do it again. Unfortunately the other boys weren’t keen.

I’ll be going, and am looking forward to it - just as tough a fight as Miller, but in a completely different way - but I really think they should have save Portman Road until Fab had a world title fight (or fought a much bigger name). |  | | |
