Can see someone interested in that 35 clause.

Maybe, I should give up on trying to predict values. They are always bonkers.

Yes and he was too good for it the second half of that season as well. Or did you forget that? He’s also now played plenty of minutes a level up for a struggling side and has given defenders plenty to think about. This isn’t meant to be a dig but he literally created more space, decent crosses and openings in that first half today (eg for Ensico) than I’ve seen from Philogene in all the games he played before getting injured.

Don’t see it. He’s been largely anonymous bar a few nice touches. I’d be staggered if anyone paid anything near 35m for him, given the value to be had in Europe. Think we are seeing this one through blue glasses.

I’m usually the opposite of blue tinted glasses, especially compared to most on here but we will have to disagree on this one,

Before his injury nobody in the league got their team up the pitch more in the stats than him. We missed it a hell of a lot too. We're instantly better for his presence today going forward.

Right, people literally don’t understand football I swear! Cutting in creating space, actually getting the ball in the box despite having limited opportunities.

Ensico should have scored with his first chance today created by Hutch. Also put a Villa esque ball in for Delap first half. Kept the ball well, created space, put in dangerous balls after taking his man on. I think I prefer him on the right than a central 10. Missed him massively and fear he’s only got a few games left at the club.
Hutchison would be miles too good for the Championship on 16:50 - May 3 with 1427 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Leeds had plenty of players who were far too good for the division in each of the past two seasons. This one it was enough for them to win it ... on goal difference. Last season it wasn't even enough for promotion. I don't see anyone saying he hasn't done enough. I think people have said (and I agree) that he hasn't increased his value from last summer sufficiently for someone to pay a fee that will see us sell (that includes the likely clause too).

Mr TWTD himself literally said that the other day in a thread about the same topic. It’s possible he stays of course but I can see a club triggering that clause!

I think he has shown he's every bit a PL player and that will have increased his value. Young and English too and with PL experience I think he may get taken at 35m if that is the release. I really really hope not.

He’s under contract, 21 years old, bags of potential and some experience now of the top level. The money Premier clubs have says £35m is a potential bargain. A no lose gamble. A no brainer. I hope he stays but it may be in his best interests to go to a permanent PL club like West Ham, Forest as a stepping stone to one of the top teams, sadly. I really hope he stays. He’s done more than enough in a struggling team that’s played as an away side home and away.

Rutter fetching 40M last summer (with less PL minutes) and people suggesting that in today’s world of transfer fees he wouldn’t fetch 35M is crazy to me.

Well that’s stupid as well, if he’s to go obviously you want the maximum value.

He is too good for the championship, looks a prem player all day long to me. I really hope he stays but I’m not sure he will, think someone will be interested at £35m. Sounds like he is very settled and happy under Kmac though which is positive, and warming a bench will not do him any favours. I’m hoping that the kind of team paying £35m is one where he isn’t maybe starting, which will deter and the lower prem teams need a more finished player for that outlay, fingers crossed.

Yes, Leeds' example shows that even if players appear individually too good: (a) their club is not guaranteed promotion; and (b) those players are not guaranteed to leave the Championship club. So, we may retain Omari next year, we may not. Even if we do, we may go up, we may not.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'd put money on a team like Palace being interested - they just love taking players like him and improving them. Takes him back to London too, would be very tempting for him.

Well yes, of course. It’s people arguing over exactly how much any fee will be that I find a bit pointless. It’s more a general peeve than a response to anything anyone’s said here.

Hutchison would be miles too good for the Championship on 17:47 - May 3 with 1003 views | SuffolkPunchFC | The increasing number of transfer specialists on this forum amazes me each day that passes. I think you're all wasting your talents on here - there's good money to be made doing this professionally in the media. To be honest, even they can be wrong 9 times out of 10, but at least they earn a living from it.
