So who has got the bottle for next year? 20:03 - May 5 with 2067 views | victorysquad | Are we full of a bunch of players that are all on the phone to their agents, with their 1 year premier league experience under their belts saying "find me a new contract, get me out of here" or have we got a team that is going to stay and get us back up there next year? I have no doubt that our finishing squad, given another crack at it, would stay in the League. So who is staying and fighting for the club and who is bottling it? For me, the bottlers are: 1. Phillips (top of the pile) 2. Delap 3. Omari 4. O'Shea 5. Cajuste (sorry but I don't think he will stay) [Post edited 5 May 20:04]

I think maybe you should be supporting a top six side if you don’t like the idea of players leaving to further their careers. Enjoy these players whilst they are here and for your own sanity get used to it.

It happens even to Premier champions - Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Throughout their development? Two are loans who other clubs have developed Liam and O'shea we have had one season - can't really say we. have backed them throughout their development can we Nothing to do with bottling it - not really the cleverest of posts this is it

Phillips would cost too much on wages to be here permanently + unfortunately he's not hit the heights he did at Leeds before moving to Man City. Cajuste would be a coup for us in the Championship but I imagine he will be wanted by mid-lower Premier League teams and would likely favour the higher level of football. Delap will almost certainly go - could we possibly ask for a season long loan in any deal for him perhaps? O'Shea has shown he is a Premier League player - but I suspect he will stay loyal to us, maybe with the incentive that he might be our new captain? Omari is the only one im unsure on. He undoubtedly has bags of potential, but had an indifferent season for one reason or another. Could he be possibly swayed by money talk? Heart says Omari stays and sets the Championship alight, head says he will go this summer.
