Looking like penalties to decide who gets to Wembley from 22:28 - May 13 with 835 viewsNthsuffolkblue

Sunderland and Coventry.

But on tonight's showing and by the league overall, Sheff Utd must be heavy favourites for the final.

I’d imagine the outcome is largely irrelevant. I can’t see them beating Sheff Utd, but I suppose you never know.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

What an absolutely horrid drive home those Coventry fans have got now.

I would say that Coventry are the better watch as a team, but Sunderland are more likely to beat the blades in the final - they have a doggedness that may frustrate Sheffield whereas Coventry would have been more likely to want to play. Sheffield will win I think in a reasonably uneventful game with few chances - the Bristol City game was a bit freakish

I worry if Sunderland get up, they may come back for Jack Clarke.

Strange to say after his lack of goals at the top level, but I think he's a big weapon in the championship.

Sheffield do look a step up on the others and not really a surprise, they finished 14 points ahead of Sunderland although their goals for and against aren't wildly different

Sunderland look fairly solid at the back and do have some pace but Sheffield United have a lot of attacking options, they are decent through the middle too

We could do with players like Hamer and Souza in the middle

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Sheffield look a lot stronger than both those. Sunderland have a number of good young players, a rock solid defence around that big strong centre half that got the winner. But they’d get eaten alive in the Premier League without replacing most of the team should they get past Sheffield Utd. Which I doubt.

Sheffield? I’ve been quite impressed with them, albeit against woefully weak Bristol City. A bit ham and egg crude, they look strong and organised. I can see why Leeds ran away from these teams.

Hamer - good player that gets the odd goal. Of the others, Sunderland’s Mayenda looked a pest, Sakamoto and Dasilva impressed me. The rest? Not great.
