Summer to strengthen squad for Championship, players to come back from injury, no VAR, better balanced division etc etc.

Luton were statistically better than us and got relegated. The championship is a tough league, last time around we had momentum which I think was so under valued. This time around we don't will be a scalp and will be a tough division see Brum, Wrexham coming up. Agree it's a huge summer and recruitment has to be right this time around.

Oh well, if Luton were statistically better than us and got relegated, we are certain to go down again next season aren’t we. No point in even trying. Next season is done on that logic. Best sell every player we have, find a few cheap loans from L2 and accept our fate, while wringing out the bedsheets. Alternatively you could say of the six teams relegated from the PL in the last two seasons, five have been promoted. But let’s not do that. Much better to let the tears flow and worry about the big boys Wrexham, Birmingham and co against whom we have no chance, given how much stronger than us Luton were last season.

We have been blo0dy awful at times. People say Leicester and Southampton are poor on here, we are just as bad. We haven’t even beaten either of them and they both beat us !

You could say that if you were making up stats… Agree with the general point though

Alright, possibly five if Sheffield beat Sunderland (I forgot they haven’t played yet). But the point is valid. Teams falling through the decisions is quite rare. Luton, Wolves and I think Sunderland have done it in the last decade or so, so it can happen but it’s highly unlikely

Just to be pedantic - to date, of the last six teams relegated from the PL in the last two seasons, four have been promoted. It will be five if Sheffield United beat Sunderland. But agree with your overall point. And we have picked up more points this season than Sheffield United managed. Plus, if a miracle happens next week, we'll beat Burnley's points total too.
