Strange comment by Taylor about Enciso 10:36 - May 22 with 2407 viewscbower

In the article on the TWTD homepage, Taylor predominantly talks about being ready for next season. Then, near the end of the piece he talks about Enciso still learning about what is needed here. Am I reading something in this that's not there as it felt like the suggestion Enciso would be here next year? Maybe it's just me seeing what I want.

There is zero chance he'll be here next year.

Just a throwaway comment IMO. Doubt he will be here.

I was more concerned about his suggestion of re-signing Jon Stead.

Unless it's another loan.

Again zero chance I think, maybe if we were still Premiership, but Brighton know they've got a good player developing there and aren't just going to gift him to other teams

Individually, he'd probably be our most talented player but he currently makes us a lesser team as our connections in general haven't been as strong when he's been on the pitch.

Next to no chance that he’ll be here next season.

But we now seem to have a good relationship with Brighton, who in turn realise that not only will we look after their players, but also improve them.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we loan a couple of their young players next season - especially so in the January transfer window.

He obviously means the games he has played this season not a chance he is championship player

Think he was in Porto to look at signing with them recently. Doubt we'll be high in the pecking order.

I agree it’s unlikely, but Brighton have seen how we developed Hutchinson & Sarmiento in the Championship. They may also prefer Ensico to stay in the English game (unless ofc they sell to Porto)

When Brighton were considering loaning Enciso out, they specifically said they didn't want to sell him and didn't want to loan him abroad, but things may have changed now.
