Any Coffee Snobs Around? 11:29 - Jun 16 with 2031 views

Looking for the best cup of coffee in Suffolk.
I know Honey and Harvey is nice, but aside from them there's nowhere I've found with genuinely good coffee.
Any suggestions? For a great cup, I'd be okay to venture out of Suffolk.

Starbucks cappuccino undrinkable. Nero capp almost tasteless. Costa capp better than almost all independents., and much the best of these three.

I've always found Nero to be the better of the three. Starbucks is horrid though, agree with that.

I've always found Nero to be the better of the three. Starbucks is horrid though, agree with that.

All 3 are garbage, but if I was in desperate need then I'm with you on Nero.

The other 2 are absolutely awful.

Does anybody know of a place to get decent decaf beans online? Had some Castillo beans that were bloody lovely but they were a one-off and I'm back to boring stuff.

this is the best decaf I have ever tasted. It's not cheap though.

The Green Room in Ipswich (recently re-opened) and Good Inside (next door to the Green Room) also do a good coffee. Also St Stephen's Church (only open on Friday and Saturday)

All are really good, but Appluad is definitely the best.

Costa is dreadful imo. Like drinking the water left in the sink after the washing up has been done.

Coffeelink do 2 or 3 decent decaffs. Not over roasted or bitter at all.

Seconded for Strangers, it is excellent. Make sure you go to the roastery though, their best baristas are in there. Buffalo Coffee Brewers is also excellent, on St Benedict's Street.

Yes, Buffalo is also very good indeed. And agree that the roasters make the best coffee at Strangers too.

Not beans but Lidl do an excellent decaff blend .

I had the best coffee I've ever had in an Ethiopian restaurant in Nottingham after last year's Forest game. Restaurant was called Balageru. Ever since then I've bought the best Ethiopian beans I can find. I make it strong and black with one sugar and the deep rich flavour is just the best
