He's an absolute player. I was gutted when he didn't come here initially and went back to Villa, he's one who is going under the radar a bit at the moment due to injury but if he's our POTS next season I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised. Even if a club hit the clause, I am still not sure he leaves to be fair. The absolute main man working for a manager he obviously really trusts. The progress he has made under McKenna is phenomenal. If someone like West Ham hit the clause, I would be pointing at Summerville and looking at how his career stalled last season. Or even Carvalho at Brentford. |  | | |

Also, does Hutch seem like record signing quality for one of these clubs? For that sort of outlay the potentially interested clubs need a finished article you would think.
Whereas one of the top 6/7 clubs may drop that on a developing player, are they likely to be interested yet. And would Hutchinson go and sit in the reserves at one of those clubs? He was doing that 2 years ago.
We are quite well covered by that 35m fee. It's high enough that it makes any potential interested parties have to really think twice. We are in a financial position also where we don't have to accept less. | | | |

£35m really isn't an inconsequential sum though. In terms of guaranteed fee excluding add-ons, it would be a record signing for Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Fulham and a joint record signing for Forest. They are the sort of clubs you would imagine being interested. |

I think Leif will be a similar case to Omari. Not sure what his release clause is but it is higher than the fee they've just paid for Truffert from Rennes - a player with 150 Ligue 1 games and a France cap under his belt. | | | |
