Don't disagree with that. I don't see a route back for AAH personally, I would think he's done here and will leave this summer.

We certainly need 2 in, I wouldn't be surprised if 1 is a young loanee from the PL who we can give senior squad exposure to, who effectively starts as that 3rd choice but will no doubt play a decent amount of football given the rotation. Its a really interesting area to see what we do over the next couple of months. Absolutely vital to how we're set up and one where we're now as short, if not more short than we are in any other area of the pitch, including CM which is the other problem area.

Agree about AAH.

The club have moved on too quickly for him. From what I remember it was reported the club were happy for him to move permanently before he went on loan to Stoke in January.

5 goals in 9 international matches seems impressive, anyone know who against?

Impressive against Trinidad & Tobago assuming they lined up in their usual 8-8-4 formation.

Don't see it unless comes in to replace Ali and is our 3rd striker.
Believe we will go for a player to swap with Hirst who is less of a gamble.

Don;t know about this lad, but it would be very refreshing if we could get our strike force sorted for the season in this window (preferably before the season starts). It's been a bit of a tale of long and fruitless searches for the striker for the last few seasons hasn't it, leaving us needing to add extra in Jan. Really hope we get a couple over the line in the next few weeks.

I have watched a fair bit of him over the past year for nerdy reasons.

Certainly has the physical profile required but he is so raw, touch is not great, weak in the air technically still needs a lot of work. Not sure on this one.

Looks a big gangly but so does Guiu, could he be an alternative?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Got to be said that options are limited at all levels atm and those that are out there are often over priced for that reason plenty of big clubs looking in Jan and struggled.

Arsenal perusing Sesoko (again) looks like it could drag. Gyokeres trying to force his way out of sporting. Osimen forced to move to Turkey on loan last year as no one could stump up the cash. Think its the hardest position to recruit really quality for ATM.

Poll: Will Phil ever confirm we are actually close on a signing ever again
