Neil Harris - the Cambridge manager, and Marco Silva - the Fulham Manager, were both born on 12 July 1977

Are you sure that "very" was the word you meant to use there? Or indeed "interesting" for that matter?

So they’re twins?

I always get Neil Harris confused with Moray Watson, succulent-voiced thespian who played George Frobisher in Rumpole of the Bailey, and whose delicious 'Pickwick' I have just been enjoying on Radio 4 Extra. (If you're interested in that sort of thing, Gnu?)

An easy mistake to make - and I agree, Moray's voice was indeed most succulent. The 2nd May 2017 was a most horrid day.

Two random people have a 1 in 365 (about 0.27%) chance of sharing the same birthday. But with over 8 billion people in the world, millions are guaranteed to share birthdays — on average, around 22 million people are born on each day of the year. So while it’s unlikely for any two specific people, it’s almost certain that many people worldwide share the same birthday.

Have you factored in a leap year?

c0.27% to share a birthday but far lower to share a birth date, surely

True. Based on average annual birth rates evenly distributed across the year, there’s a 1 in a 133,000 chance of meeting someone by chance with the same birthdate.

I will add though that in my senior school year there were 3 of us which shared the same birthdate, one of which completely by coincidence went on to live in a student house in the next road to my student house in Nottingham.

It becomes more interesting when you realise they were born in the same hospital and Marcos’ mum and dad are blonde….

Apparently, If there is a room with 23 random people, there is a 50/50 chance two of them will have the same birthday (not same birth year however).

In Norwich, 63% of them would be from the same family, and the rest would be statistical researchers.

For a school year though the odds will go back to the 1 in 365 calculation, as by default you’ll all have birth dates within the same 365 day period

No idea how you’d go about calculating the odds for the house part mind!
