Vespidae are crucial for pest control, pollination, and maintaining ecological balance. Bees just have a better marketing team . . .

You're lucky - I was at a barbecue on Sunday, drinking Newcy Brown straight from the bottle. At one point, I took a good swig and was surprised to feel a non-liquid wad of matter in my mouth. I quickly retrieved it with my fingers, but not before the little bastard had stung me twice. Lesson learnt.

WASPS! on 18:48 - Jul 16 with 244 views | StochesStotasBlewe | A little tip I picked up while on holiday in Kefalonia a few years ago. Place some ground coffee either used or fresh and make sure it’s totally dry. Place in some aluminium foil or a tin can and set it alight so it smoulders. The jaspers don’t like the aroma and tend to keep a reasonable distance thus allowing for a trouble free beer or two.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |
