I didn't realise it was still amateur. Is the same true of Gaelic football?

And it seems amazing to me, with two Gaelic games and football competing for players, just how good Ireland is at rugby.

There must be something in the water.

Both codes are amateur but Hurling is the superior of the two. GAA prides itself as being a community association which is also it's strength. Croke Park which is the GAA headquarters has the largest capacity of any stadium in the country.

Am in Dublin next Sunday...is there any realistic way of getting a ticket? Do they have touts and if so likely prices?

Cheers.

Popped it on whilst I'm at the gym - glad I did.

Interesting to see and read about O'Neills' use of the three stripes, and victory over Adidas' legal challenge.

Could ITFC, in theory, go with O'Neill's from next season, and have the three stripes back on the shirt?

C'mon Tip!

What a second half performance by Tipp! Totally blew Cork away, although how many times did Cork hit the bar/post. Didn't see that coming fair play to the Premier County.

Well, what can I say, what an engaging, enthralling, entertaining match. I had no idea what was going on other than that was a fantastic sport to watch.

I went for tip as they were in blue and really thought cork would run away with it second half as they were in front at half time.

But what a come back and fantastic win. Such as the strength and speed of the players. The skills required are immense. Now keen to try and see a local game next year as I doubt you will ever get tickets to a final.

Total sportsmen in action there.

What a game. Great day to be a Tipp man

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.
