I expected that. He was ok over here last season and the Swans fans really took to him. I didn’t see much evidence that he did any better than someone like Luongo in that role for us. They’ve been starved of quality though so thought he was the messiah. He was obviously leaving Forest, and I doubted Swansea could afford him. So no surprise to see him end up at their Welsh rivals for next season. It’s how these things roll. |  |

I'm still surprised how long its taking a fanbase to adjust to what we are now. Some seem incapable. I guess we were in the wilderness for a long time, and in some ways has a positive impact in terms of tolerance etc... | | | |

Yeas, but we’re not getting any of them. Let’s aim for the stars, but have someone lined up and ready to go from within our own atmosphere.
I don’t mind us aiming high, but it comes at a cost of missing out on more realistic targets and getting players in late. I’m not including O’Brien in that btw. Cameron is potentially better. | |

Quite. We’re linked with players PL clubs are after but have signed players they weren’t after. Let’s see where we’re at when the window shuts, but I doubt we’ll convince anyone to pick us over a PL club. | |

I said this the other night, but I struggle to believe the club would view ‘x’ target is better than ‘y’ target. They’ll have compiled a list which match the requirements of the position we’re recruiting for and I imagine there is a list of at least 6-9 which Ashton/Werhun will be working on at any one time. | |

It's the modern football fan problem; it's all about spending money. Bottom line is 'You have to spend', so they just want the club to spend irrelevant of who the player is or their quality. |  | | |
