Newcastle have put a 90m Euro package on the table for him.

According to Fabrizio, Man United have confirmed to RB Leipzig that they "will bid if he picks them"

Ratty's ego not wanting them to be rejected?

United's pull is past days where they had an elite manager and amazing squads.

If he's looking at how things are right now, i'd be heading to Newcastle, assuming the contracts are similar.

Truly impaired.

Feels like them hoping that they won't have to match/beat Newcastle's offer.

"Look, he's turned down Newcastle so you won't be getting their €90. He does want to come to us, though and, on that basis, we're willing to offer you €75m."

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

It’s United. If they get it right, they are a major player.

Agree but that is going to take a few windows at least. They have a lot of average dross.

It will probably take 4-8 really good windows for them to be challenging but going on the journey with them could be good fun!

I know United has a monumental pull but as a young striker all you need to look at is the clubs history of developing talent and giving proper game time ...

Newcastle - Joelinton, Tonali, Gordon, Isak, Livramento, Hall all ascending and improving players ....

United - I can't really name one young player that has really improved. Maybe Diallo but they've just recruited over the top of him. The two young strikers they have recently signed have taken notable steps backwards.

Add to the fact that Mbuemo/ Cunha are going to be the primary goal scorers I can't think of a single Footballing reason why you would pick United.

"going on the journey with them could be good fun"

What are you talking about? I though the majority were "enjoying" their downfall! Maybe just me.

(to be fair I do quite like this Amorim)

Can’t say I’ve enjoyed it. It’s pretty embarrassing more than funny. The premier league needs a strong United IMO they are one of the biggest clubs in the world them being 15th isn’t good for them or the league.
