I really liked the multicoloured (very jazzy patterned) training tops and jacket. The blues, greens etc. that looked like a 90’s bus seat.

Why price a t-shirt at £45, when you could price it at £20-£25 and sell three times as many? |
I believe the sad logic is this. Town won't make huge sums off it once Umbro fees etc with the licencing structure. So I believe they try and sell as many as they can initially to those who are inclined to buy them regardless, and then clear the stocks out later at lower / minimal margin
It isn't just as straightforward as £4 to make so X profit due to the whole licencing agreement bit

Why sell three at £25 a pop, when you can sell the first one at £45 and then pick up the other two at £25 once you discount it all in March. | |
