Yeah he's been caught on the ball and had a couple of messy moments, not least the decision to head the ball backwards for the disallowed goal. He's broken up play to our advantage too but overall a difficult half.

I cannot think of any precedent for a starting XI player, let alone a captain and club legend, who was still under contract, and whom we wanted to keep, but we let leave, agreed to cancel their contract, and did not seek a fee.
