I don't think we had a choice with Luongo as his contract was up, and I can understand why we didn't offer another. But we should have held on to Morsy until we'd got replacements through the door. | |

I genuinely thought we'd be OK with the new guy and taylor with Cajuste until the end of August but taylor and 5 looked awful.tonight.

As Bloos says, how we’re at this stage (having spent £100m+ in the EPL), and ended up with Taylor & Humphries as our CM pairing in our first game, some serious questions need to be asked of our recruitment team. | | | |

I don’t think he has the physical / fighting attributes required to fill Morsy’s void imo. Hackney’s more of a creative CM in a similar mould to Cajuste (hence why I never thought we’d end up with both). We need an enforcer. | | | |
