We need to start crossing the ball then, because we don't really that.
It was noticable at the end of last season that we only started doing it when it was desperate and nothing else was working. Thinking back to the last 10 minutes against Brentford and Hutchinson putting deep crosses in, and then Hirst's headed goal against Forest.
We should absolutely do it more. I wish Davis in particular would put the odd early ball in, he can't rely on his cut back to the Broadhead position every time. |  |

What just worries me a bit Is that precisely. He's been there just when balls are zig zaggin around the box ..granted he has a habit of getting to the end of them..but isn't chaplain just as good or Sammy or clarke ...hope he just offers that bit extra and not waiting for the ball. |  | | |

I think that's harsh. His ability to find space and time runs is clearly very good and some of the headed goals are half chances at best. Agree with the previous post though, we don't do a lot of crossing... | | | |

He’s got far, far more in his locker than that, including pacy runs at defenders, beating them with tricks and out-muscling them, not easily knocked off the ball. In short, he could be a Liam Delap in the Championship for us. People should watch the 8’ video of his career goals posted the other day.

I like the bit where he jumps 'over' the advertisement perspective-painted on the ground behind the goal to look like an old-style advertising hoarding. Is that a thing these days, pretending to jump 'over' it? Can't say I've ever noticed before. |  |
