Plymouth 00:21 - Aug 17 with 1476 views | radiogaga | Bottom of league one with zero points and fans at odds with chairman etc, apparently no recognised striker at the club, conceding goals for fun. They have officially gone back to being an irrelevant lower league club again, after giving it the big one to us and Sheff Wed a few years back. As bad as Birmingham fans have been for the last week, Plymouth fans were irritating for most of that 22-23 league one season.

Plymouth on 02:16 - Aug 17 with 1199 views | Plums | I was at their game at Lincoln, it was incredible how many of their fans left with 25 to go. As the chronology of the game shows, their bench looked significantly stronger than the Imps. They play some nice football too. They'll be OK.

Obnoxious fans who now its not going so well want everyone sympathise with them. When DC was spending and they were doing well, he was did...

Yup, no animosity towards Plymouth here. I think a lot of their annoyance came from the fact that some people were saying we were the best team in the division despite them being top. Our football might have been sexier but they did what they needed to do extremely well that season.

Plymouth on 03:07 - Aug 17 with 1105 views | quirkie | I did say this a season or two ago that they would go back to the bottom two leagues, spend about 10 years there and come back to the Championship only to repeat it all again. It is what they have done throughout their history. Reach the 2nd tier once every 10 years or so for no more than two seasons then spend the rest of their time in the bottom two leagues. I was at the opening game Argyle v Barnsley and Argyle's defence was dire, unless they recruit well the rest of this window, they are in a relegation battle down to league 2. Football int he West Country is well underrepresented, population about the same as Scotland, and only Bristol City in the Championship. Bournemouth btw not counted as West Country as in East Dorset. Much more of a Rugby part of the world. Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Exeter, Pirates. Proper manly part of the world?

Plymouth on 07:19 - Aug 17 with 788 views | Ftnfwest | As others have said, no animosity here with them. They had a great season and fair play. I was more annoyed at missing 100 points than finishing 2nd tbh. A lot of the rivalry was around the manager comparisons, but then Schumacher seems to have gone the way of the dinosaurs as well.
Plymouth on 07:27 - Aug 17 with 725 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | I kind of feel sorry for them to be honest - no team deserves Wayne Rooney being thrust on them (well maybe the noisy lot up the road). Perhaps a warning of what can happen if you sell TOO many of your saleable assets and don’t replace them sufficiently. Player trading isn’t as easy as Brighton make it look. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Plymouth on 09:33 - Aug 17 with 255 views | Guthrum | Always had a soft spot for Plymouth. The Mariner connection. Family and friends who have lived in the city. I like to see their team doing well (when not at our expense).
