Lost control in the second stage of the first half, midfield an issue, but regrouped at HT.
Excellent throughout second half. Deserved to win the game.
Big positives:
Philogene looked good. Great workrate. Great delivery. Will only get better too.
I thought Matusiwa is starting to get to grips with the league. Did some very good things.
Leif back to his marauding best.
Hirsty held the ball up so well. Constant threat.
Johnson good.
Dara and Greaves dealt with everything.
Szmods caused trouble for them all game. So unlucky not to score.
Jens purred when he came on.
All this when we have Akpom and other signings coming in.
I thought we really saw KM's identity and the team's identity from old again today.
Saints will be there or there abouts.

Agree entirely.
Philogene will be a key player for us if fit.
If we can get Clarke/Ogbene going on the right and bring in another player to support Philogene we should be good in attack( as long as Azon is coming).
Get in another midfielder similar in style to Matusiwa and someone to cover for Leif and we are there with the squad I would say.

Yeah that was decent enough, I thought we created the better chances on balance, but a draw probably a fair result.
Circumstances haven’t been ideal, a few more incomings inevitable and Cajuste & Akpom to get up to speed, no doubt we’ll improve on that performance and Saints will too, but that was a step on from last week. Need to start turning draws to wins but I think that’ll come against lesser opposition. |  | | |

Davis looked a class above everyone else on the pitch today. He's coming inside often now with his runs to leave the space out wide for Philogene, and he looks so in control. Those touches past his marker towards the end of the game particularly were fabulous. Utter class. And defensively totally solid too. |  |
