Think Taylor could be moved on. He's really not done enough to make a point to McKenna, Jack Clarke also, again, just not done enough to nail down that place.

I’m not adverse to moving Taylor or J Clarke but at some stage the music stops and you have to get more from the players with us rather than assuming another player will hit the ground running plus that’s a lot to do in the late stages of the window when we still need a CDM and Striker and Wolfy probably walks and needs covering.
Taylor has shown progress in each game and it’s Azor where we have hardly any proper cover.
J Clarke on the other hand not sure how he gets out of his funk. | |

Least of our worries isn’t it, it would be like asking one cube of ice or two with your drink .., on the titanic.
That ship has sailed.
It’s the strategy, planning, execution, vision, contingency and all the other core strategic elements that have failed us.., over a long time as well.., too much faith in just two people.
So Mark is accountable…, he bet the clubs entire future on KM and truthfully, staying up.
If we’ve spent £170 million for worst outcomes than a £10 million league one side.., and that’s probably where we are, then Ashton has to go and we need a suite of elite people OFF the pitch.
Who we do or don’t sign comes further down the line.., £80 million net surplus is clearly where the owners want to be at the end of this window.
We seem to have a core of fans who don’t understand the consequences of spending so much for so little value .., and we’ll feel that for a few years yet.., longer, if we keep pretending Ashton and McKenna were the core of our success.., they were importnst, but Sam, Mass, Chapd, Burgess - they weren’t recruited by either, and were self motivated and dragged the group forwards.
They couldn’t have done it without KMs coaching and passion, and Ashton getting deals done…, but their contribution to as as or greater than theirs.
That’s the reality many investing emotionally in a fantasy didn’t see coming.
This group won’t get close to 96 points .., and the owners spent an eye watering sum, to discover that, in a manager without a single games experience at that level.
They should be furious.
And I strongly suspect that, along with a weaker $ is the reason they’ve seen and had enough.
That’s a positive.., new ownership could be a big step forward…., the disaster scenario .., they can’t find buyers and want to carry the cash rather than depreciating player assets, until they do, and that takes so long it cause significantly more damage.
I don’t think we’ll be Luton.., but I don’t think it’s impossible either.., and at least £170 million investment, it bloody should be. | | | |
